About Stevenson Design
Founded in 1979 by Michael Stevenson, STEVENSON DESIGN is an architectural firm
providing services to clients in Eastern Montana. The office was located in Birney, Montana from 1979 to 1993. In 1993 the office was
moved to Miles City, Montana to be closer to the geographic center of the client base. The firm has experience in State, Local Government,
Medical, Religious, Educational, Commercial and Residential projects.

Computer aided drafting and design has been used in the office since 1986. Access to the Internet has enabled small firms
to have the same resources previously available only to larger firms. Systems and software are being up-graded on a regular basis to continue
to provide more, and clearer information for the contractors bidding your project. Clear and accurate contract documents are a priority, that
benefits everyone involved in the construction process.
Projects emphasize energy efficiency in both new buildings and in retrofit of existing buildings, which includes
weighing the costs and benefits for each individual situation. This experience has led to the successful diagnosis and repair of existing buildings with a
variety of chronic problems that had eluded the Owner's best efforts for years.
